Practice Setting
I provide inpatient advanced nursing specialty consultation services for patients
experiencing hyperglycemia and/or with complex diabetes. I work in collaboration with
medical staff to conduct advanced nursing assessments, recommend and interpret
diagnostic procedures and implement specialty care plans.
Preceptorship Description
I am currently working with the Program for Diabetes Health. My main location I serve is at Memorial Regional Medical Center but have privileges at St Francis and St Mary's Hospitals. We run the inpatient diabetes management services and are asked to see and manage patients in all units of the hospital.
