No volunteering on Saturday April 6th with Moments of Hope Outreach

Nelson Parker, the CEO of Moments of Hope Outreach, posted a message on Facebook today:

"I was notified this past Monday that MoHope can no longer serve at the Brookhill Azalea Shopping Center. This past Saturday we had three medical emergencies and there was an incident at the laundry mat (unrelated to us). Everyone is okay.

All that to say, the management company didn't care for all the commotion it caused.

There will be no serving this Saturday.

We are in search of a new location.

Specs:

20,000 sq ft outdoor space, parking lot, on the bus line, prefer that it be in the city or close to the city line.

I will keep you posted as soon as I find a new location."

Richmond AORN has volunteered with Moments of Hope Outreach for close to a year and we hope to find new ways to support this organization. We will keep you posted on ways to help people suffering from homelessness via this organization or others in the area. We are currently conducting a donation drive for Caritas, so please consider supporting this local organization, https://www.caritasva.org/

Please contact Jessica Ooms, jessica.richmondaorn@yahoo.com if you have any questions or you are interested in volunteering or assisting with the donation drive.
