Thank you to everyone that come out this past weekend to volunteer with the Richmond Highland Games.
We appreciate your willingness to serve the community and the Cullather Brain Tumor Quality of Life Center is such a great cause to support. The weather was beautiful and it a fun event. If you missed the opportunity to volunteer, don't worry. I'm sure we can sign up again next year and they'd love to have our help.
Come volunteer with Moments of Hope Outreach at Saturday Servings on November 11th from 12:15 - 2pm
Our chapter normally volunteers with this organization the first Saturday of every month, but we changed our plans for November. We will help with the clothing ministry and distribute clothing and shoes to those in need. All that you need to do is show up with a smile on your face and be willing to share a little love with your community. Here's the link to the website if you would like additional information: https://momentsofhopeoutreach.org/
If you can't help this coming Saturday, that's okay. We plan to volunteer the first Saturday of every month. Find a time that works with you schedule, put it on you calendar, and make a commitment to help out!!
The address for the volunteer event is: Brookhill Azalea Shopping Center, 5300 Chamberlayne Rd. (across the parking lot from Food Lion).
Feel free to bring clothing or shoe donations. If you need donation ideas or would like to order items online, please check out their Amazon wish list: https://a.co/9NjezaB

Please contact Kaytie Loving at kall7079@gmail.com or Jessica Ooms at jessica.richmondaorn@yahoo.com if you're interested in volunteering on a Saturday or if you have any questions about donations or future volunteer opportunities.
***Richmond AORN volunteers with this organization the first Saturday of every month, but Moments of Hope conducts Saturday Servings every Saturday, rain or shine. If you are unable to volunteer with the group, please consider volunteering on another Saturday. They're so appreciative of our help and provide a great service for the community.
December: We're collecting non-perishable goods for Feed More. Please bring items to the Holiday Dinner on Wednesday Dec. 6. Last year we collected over 250 lbs. of food and over $100. Let's see if we can top that this year. Get into the holiday spirit and lend a helping hand. Thank you for your generosity!
**I've attached flyers that you can print out to remind people about our upcoming volunteer ideas and donation drives. Hang them up at work and share with your family and friends.**
